CRO Mbale is the first project founded in 1992. CRO Mbale is situated 230 km East of Kampala in Mbale District. The project office and drop in center is found on Bishop Wasikye Road, plot 15-17 in Mbale town.
Over the years, CRO Mbale has impacted the lives of over11,000 street children. Currently,
- 75 children under the Rehabilitation program,
- 256 children are sponsored in primary school,
- 85 children attend secondary school,
- 25 children attend university and tertiary institutions,
- 17 children attend vocational training institute and informal vocational training.
CRO Mbale works with local leaders and parents/guardians in Nakaloke,Bungokho-mutoto, Namatala,Namabasa, Nauyo, Namakwekwe, Doko, Maluku and Mooni communities in Mbale.
