Life skills training empower the children with the knowledge and attitude that will help them to lead a careful and a safer life in the community.
At the Lira center, children under rehabilitation program participate it this activity with the objective of;
- Building their capacity to be change makers through producing something for a living, making them children of value and self-employed.
- Building their confidence to show them that they matter a lot in the community
- Increasing the quality of skills development in children and also increase equitable access to skills development.
- Helping them build resilience in this covid19 crisis because it’s a big challenge.
About 49 (33 boys and 16 girls) children in the rehabilitation program participated in the life skills training of:
- Liquid soap making.
- Hair shampoo.
- Petroleum Vaseline.
- Bar soap making.
